Online therapy

Since moving to Denmark, my work with many South African clients has shifted from in-person sessions to online therapy. At first, I wondered whether the distance — and the presence of a screen — might dilute the intimacy of the therapeutic space. But I’ve learned something important: while the format changes, the depth and value of therapy remain just as strong.

In fact, online therapy offers its own kind of closeness. There’s something quietly meaningful about meeting from the comfort of our own homes — from your couch to mine. As long as clients can find a private, quiet space and a stable connection, we’re able to create a setting that’s just as safe, warm, and effective as being in the same room.

Whether you’re settled at home or walking through your favourite park, therapy can still happen — gently, thoughtfully, and with presence.
